KTM Fuel Injection

Post by Zach.Nelson »

Does anyone else have a fuel injected KTM /Berg / Husky and have experience with the mapping? I just bought a 250 xc-f a couple weeks ago and have noticed that it seems to be super lean. I was thinking about buying the JD Jetting tuner, or possibly the KTM User Setting Tool. Has anyone used either and what would you recommend?

I bought Eric T's 2011 Husaberg 570. He had Fun Mart remap it with a richer 'Euro Race' map and it runs like a bull. I can't see purchasing a tool when you can just take it to a somewhere and get it done. On a 250, I can't see needing to change maps much after you get it the way you want. I don't see a need to de-tune the 570's delivery, just ease up on the throttle.

Well I read more about the tuner. Can't use it anyhow. Apparently it's only for sx models. I just wasn't sure if I had them remap it if it would be able to compensate enough at cold and altitude. Ended up getting the JD kit. Fi makes me nervous
